This week we worked more on our new Senior High room, pictures to come.

Pink Wave hit yet again...

The Hayes

The Bakers

The Vaughns

Mystery Sunday Night was themed "Dog Days of Summer". We had some great water games! Some relays, a water balloon fight, and we put the water balloon launch to good use...

Again, Sunday School we are talking about the "Power of One". Ephesians 2:14-22 talks about how Christ has broken down the wall between us and other people, that we are all equal in Christ. We talked about how we need to treat each other as equals all the time. No matter how society classifies us, what clique we have been put in, we as Christians must put all of that aside, because of our common bond, being apart of the Family of Christ!

Many of our youth left for camp this morning. We are so excited to send so many this year. It is going to be such a great opportunity for them. Please keep Brittany, Brian, and Julie, as well as, the students in your prayers this week. You can see more pics from them leaving for camp on Pastor Ricks blog.

We had so much go on this past week. We had a scavenger hunt at NC Museum of Natural Science. We had a great time!

We also starting painting the Senior High Youth rooms, they are coming along. Hopefully one more day of painting and it will be done.

We also had Mystery Sunday Night, 18 of us went bowling. I must say we had so much fun. Bill was Mister Twinkletoes himself, there were some great granny bowls, and bumper bowling, too. You do not want to miss out on the other Mystery Sunday Nights

We also have started talking about Ephesians in Sunday School. This week we talked about what it means to be whole with God. Ephesians 1:3 says "All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ." We talked about the spiritual blessings that we are gifted through Jesus Christ that Paul talks about in Ephesians 1:3-14

Just a quick update
Wednesday we had yet another Pink Wave.
There are more pictures but these are just classic. (the Joslins home)

On Thursday we went and saw Hawk Nelson play at the Durham Bulls Park. They rocked the house unfortunately the Bulls did not, they made it close but lost 10 to 8 to the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, we spent the entire game trying to figure out what an iron pig was and are still yet to find out.
Here are a couple of pics from the show.

On Sunday night we had yet another mystery night! We had recess, we played many different recess games including tag, red rover, and the mother of all recess games Dodge Ball!
